To get in the holiday spirit let’s stroll through the holiday lights of Little Italy and Greenwich Village.
Each year for the holidays Little Italy is transformed to a Christmas Wonderland. It’s street a blaze with lights and decorations. It is one of the few places in Manhattan that has a small village feel during the holidays.
Like Little Italy Greenwich Village is also a great place to visit during the holidays. We will also make a stop at the Washington Square Christmas tree, which is to not be missed around the holidays.
The holidays are a time for indulging our sweet tooth. So as we stroll through, Chinatown, Little Italy, Nolita, Soho, and Greenwich village lets find something good to eat and drink. The area has an abundance of options, as you can see from this list. There is something for everyone. Choose from sweet buns, pastries, rice pudding, cookies, cupcakes, gelato, cheesecake and more. And of course, to warm up, hot chocolate, coffee, or perhaps a cocktail or two.
For our adventure we will start in Chinatown, then walk through Little Italy, Nolita, Soho and finally Greenwich Village.

There are lots of places on this list. Most likely we won’t get a chance to visit all of them. If there is a particular spot you’d like to visit please let me know at the start of the meetup. Also if there’s a place in the near in the vicinity you’d really like to go let me know and I’ll try my best to include it.
FYI You are not expected to eat or drink in every place we stop. If you would like to just join for walk you are more than welcome. But please have patience to wait when there are people who want to stop in and purchase something. If we are a large group it may take a while. And if you aren’t purchasing anything please don’t take up space inside.
One last thing unfortunately if we are a large sized group I can’t stop traffic or block sidewalks (it is a fire hazard) to accommodate everyone. I will try to stick as close to possible of the order listed above, so if some get caught at a light or two we should be pretty easy to find.
